We were given a script and our task was to successfully film the script. We had to consider where we wanted to film, how we were going to set the tone and what we wanted our actors to wear. I worked with Hannah and we were given our task and camera.
While filiming we decided to use Hannah's home village. Our actors were dressed in smart clothes but we made one look messed up. Using a series of different camera shots we created an air of mystery about one of the characters and created tension between the two characters.
We overcame a series of problems such as bad acting bad camera skills and lighting by editing out any unnecessary footage and are starting to make excellent progress with our video.
Good level of detail here, Rachel; when you come to write entries for your final pieces, you might want to give a couple of examples of (for instance) what bad camera skills are... This would demonstrate your understanding of technique.
